Nishat Anjum

Nishat Anjum is an experienced economic adviser at the Bank of England, where roles have included lead economic analyst and economist since September 2018. Responsibilities encompass analyzing macroeconomic data, developing models to interpret economic conditions, and briefing the Monetary Policy Committee on significant findings. Nishat also engaged in a secondment focused on ethnic diversity and inclusion, utilizing econometric tools to evaluate employee experiences and contributing to organizational recommendations. Previous experience includes internships at various prestigious organizations such as BRAC Institute of Governance and Development, Grameen Bank, and the World Bank Group. Nishat holds a BA (Hons) in Economics from the University of Cambridge, an MSc in Economic Policy from UCL, and an MSc in Data Science from the University of Exeter.
