Stephen Senior

Stephen Senior has extensive experience within the Bank of England, having held various leadership roles since January 2004, including Senior Manager of the Risk Response Team and Acting Head of the Authorisations Division. In these positions, Stephen has been responsible for managing emerging regulatory risks, leading a 60-person division to provide authorizations for financial services firms, and developing key policy initiatives for prudential regulation. Prior to his current tenure, Stephen served as Secretary to the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision, where involvement included the development of the Basel II Capital Accord. Stephen holds a Master's degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Oxford.
