Allen Austin

Allen Austin has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Allen began their career as an Assistant to the Plant Manager at Lehigh Cement from January 2006 to June 2008. Allen then interned at WinterWyman from June 2010 to March 2011. In 2012, they worked as an Analyst at Park Strategies, LLC from July 2012 to June 2013. Allen gained experience as a Licensed Associate - Insurance Broker/Agent at Valentine Insurance Agency, LLC from July 2013 to September 2014. Allen joined The Bank of Greene County in September 2014 and held various positions. Allen started as a Management Trainee from September 2014 to September 2015. Allen then became a Municipal Banking & Commercial Services Associate from September 2015 to September 2017. From September 2017 to September 2019, they served as a Municipal Banking, Cash Management & Administrative Officer. Allen was then promoted to AVP, Director of Corporate Cash Management & Administrative Officer, a position they held from September 2019 to January 2021. Currently, they are the VP, Director of Corporate Cash Management & Administration. Additionally, Allen currently serves as a Sector Advisor at New York State Climate Impacts Assessment since December 2021.

Allen Austin attended Catskill High School from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained an Advanced Regents Diploma. After completing their high school education, they enrolled at Babson College from 2008 to 2012. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration with a focus on Strategic Management & Leadership. In 2015, they pursued further education at the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they studied banking and finance. Additionally, from 2015 to 2017, they also obtained a Certificate of Executive Leadership from the Wisconsin School of Business, specializing in Business Administration and Management.
