Lorraine Smyth

Lorraine Smyth has extensive experience in finance and strategy, currently serving as Director of Finance Strategy & Change and Head of Group Capital Management at Bank of Ireland since September 2014. Prior roles at the Bank of Ireland include Director - Resolution Strategy and Chief Financial Officer. Lorraine was a Council Member at the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland from May 2014 to May 2018 and held the position of Head of Group Tax at Bank of Ireland and Hibernian Aviva. Earlier career experience includes roles as Head of Group Tax at Irish Life & Permanent and a Tax Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Lorraine Smyth holds a BA in Accounting & Finance from Dublin City University, FCA from Chartered Accountants Ireland, and AITI from the Irish Taxation Institute.
