Moti Alankry has over 35 years of work experience, with a focus on communication and network security. Moti began their career in the Israeli Defense Forces as a Guided Missiles Expert in the Israeli Air Force. Following their military service, they worked at IIS as a peripheral device technician, before joining Eldor as a Networking & System Administrator. At Eldor, they were responsible for NT & Novell administration, as well as IBM36 and Tandem technician duties.

In 1996, Alankry joined Bezeq - The Israeli Telecom (wireline) as a Data Communication Engineers Team Leader, where they oversaw the nationwide IT network. Their role involved matrix management of technicians and external service providers, as well as providing integration and intra-organizational consultancy to project managers for planning communication solutions. Moti held this position for over 12 years.

In 2010, Alankry transitioned to the banking sector and joined the Bank of Israel as a Data Communication & Security Expert. In this role, they focused on communication and network security for the bank. Later, they became the Head of the Communication & Network Security Unit, further advancing their expertise in this field.

Moti Alankry holds an M.B.A. degree and additional certifications as a CISO (Chief Information Security Officer), CSTP (Certified Secure Transmission Professional), and CSMP (Certified Security Management Professional).

Moti Alankry has a diverse education history, spanning various fields of study. In 2018 to 2019, they obtained an M.B.A, specializing in technological entrepreneurship and information systems, from Ono Academic College. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2010, they earned a B.A in Economics and Business Administration from Ariel University. In 1994 to 1995, they studied computer science at Israel Jobs. Additionally, in 1984 to 1985, they completed a practical computer engineering program at AMAL A college, focusing on practical computer and electronic studies.
