Gilad Brand currently serves as a member of the Macro Policy Program at the Taub Center and as an economist in the Research Division at the Bank of Israel, both since 2021. Previously, Gilad Brand held the position of Senior Economist at the Israel Ministry of Finance during 2020 and worked as an Economic Researcher at the Taub Center from 2014 to 2019, focusing on macro and labor economics. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Fellow at the Milken Innovation Center and as an Economic Analyst at the Macro Center for Political Economics. Gilad Brand holds a PhD in Economics from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, a Master's degree in Economics from Bar-Ilan University, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Business Administration from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
