Michal Weissbrod

Michal Weissbrod is an experienced research professional with a focus on economic policy issues. Currently serving as a Research Assistant at the Bank of Israel since March 2015, Weissbrod participates in economic research related to tax benefits and the interconnections between the Israeli and Palestinian economies, while engaging in meetings with government officials and representatives from international organizations, including the World Bank and IMF. Previously, Weissbrod worked as a Research Intern at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel, focusing on American foreign policy, and as a Teaching Assistant at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, aiding in a course on International Relations with an economic analysis perspective. Weissbrod has a Master’s Degree in Economics and Public Policy and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and International Relations, both from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
