Arnel Baloyo

Arnel Baloyo has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries and roles. Arnel started their career as a Test Engineer at Telefunken Semiconductors in 1995 and later worked as a Manufacturing Process Engineer at Fujitsu Computer Products Corporation of the Philippines from 1996 to 1998. Arnel then joined Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) as an IT Specialist from 1998 to 2000. Arnel then worked at Standard Chartered Bank as an Analyst Programmer from 2000 to 2001. Arnel then moved to IBM as an IT Specialist from 2001 to 2004. Afterwards, Arnel returned to Standard Chartered Bank as a Senior Analyst Programmer from 2004 to 2006 and as a Technical Project Lead from 2006 to 2007. Arnel then joined Bank of New Zealand in 2007 and held multiple roles including Senior Analyst Programmer from 2007 to 2010, Designer/Technical Lead from 2010 to 2019, and currently serves as an Engineering Lead since September 2019.

Arnel Baloyo obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Mapúa University, completing their studies from 1990 to 1994.
