Ruwan Wickrama

Ruwan Wickrama is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and digital transformation across various sectors. Currently serving as Digital Portfolio Manager at Bank of New Zealand, Ruwan manages multi-million dollar budgets for core banking transformation and oversees the establishment of a Transformation Project Management Office. Prior to this role, Ruwan worked at KPMG New Zealand as a Senior Manager, implementing emerging technologies for businesses, and led critical national projects. Ruwan's career at Deutsche Bank spanned over a decade, with roles that included managing Artificial Intelligence integrations and overseeing large-scale software digitization projects globally. Previous positions include leadership roles in IT disaster recovery and operations management, alongside foundational experience in application support within the NHS. Ruwan holds a Social Sciences Diploma from the University of Hertfordshire and A' Levels in History, Economics, and Law from Harrow Weald College.
