David Chak Choon Ng

David Chak Choon Ng is a seasoned cybersecurity leader with extensive experience in various pivotal roles across leading financial institutions. Currently, David serves as the Head of Assurance for OCBC Group TISO, where leadership spans a 20-member team dedicated to establishing robust cybersecurity controls. Previously, David held positions leading security testing initiatives, ensuring a robust security posture through application security assessments and DevSecOps practices. David’s career includes significant contributions at Bank of Singapore as Head of Technology Information Security Office and at Assurity Trusted Solutions as Director in product and business management related to cybersecurity frameworks. With prior experience at ING Bank, Citigroup, and Standard Chartered Bank, David possesses a comprehensive background in IT operations, data center management, and global network performance. David holds a Cybersecurity Strategic Leadership Programme certification from Singapore Management University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University.
