Jonathan Yap

Jonathan Yap is a highly experienced product designer and design leader with a diverse range of work experience. Jonathan most recently worked at Bank of Singapore as a Content & Design Standards VP, where they led a team in creating a framework for efficient and consistent design practices. Prior to that, they founded Design Pay Asia and worked as a Senior Lead in Product Design at WeWork. Jonathan also has experience at companies such as Visa, Roomorama.com, mGage, Emotivu, TronSquare, PouchThis!, and Techligtenment, where they played key roles in design, prototyping, and user experience. Jonathan is skilled in design systems, collaborative team management, and developing innovative user experiences.

Jonathan Yap has a Bachelor's Degree in Visual Communication from Birmingham City University, which they obtained from 2009 to 2010. Jonathan also has a Diploma in Advertising and Graphic Design from The One Academy, where they studied from 2007 to 2009. In addition, they hold a Certification in Illustration from The One Academy, completed from 2005 to 2007. Jonathan has received additional certifications, including Team Kanban Practitioner (TKP) from Kanban University in 2024 and Design Jam Academy Keynote Speaker certification from Design Jam Indonesia in 2023. Jonathan has also completed a Certification in Idea Rawkstarr from Ninety Five Percent Sdn Bhd in 2009. Jonathan attended a short program on Facilitating Power Conversations Level 1 at The Thought Collective in 2018.
