Robert Reid

Robert Reid is currently the Global Head of Alternative Investments and Managed Solutions at Bank of Singapore, Asia's Global Private Bank, a role they have held since May 2022. Prior to this, they had a variety of roles at BlackRock, including Country Head Hong Kong and Chairman and Country Head Taiwan. Robert also served as Managing Director and Head of Strategy for APAC Client Business, as well as Managing Director and COO of iShares Asia Pacific. Before joining BlackRock, they were the Chief Executive Officer of KYG International. Robert Reid also had a long career at CLSA, where they held multiple positions, including Managing Director, COO Australia, Head of Strategic Development, Head of M&A, and Head of Client Management. Robert started their career at McKinsey & Company as an Associate in Corporate Finance & Strategy. Robert also worked as a Legal Counsel at PCCW Global and as a Senior Associate in the Corporate Department at Linklaters.

Robert Reid attended The University of Warwick in the UK from 1986 to 1990, where they obtained a BA in Law & Sociology. Robert then pursued further studies at The College of Law in Guildford, UK, from 1990 to 1991, completing the Law Society Finals Examination. Prior to their tertiary education, Robert attended Bootham School in York, UK, between 1979 and 1986. No degree or field of study is specified for their time at Bootham School.
