Somnath Sinha

Somnath Sinha has a diverse and extensive work experience. Somnath is currently working as the Vice President of Software Development at Bank of Singapore, Asia's Global Private Bank, since June 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President at OCBC Bank from June 2022.

Before joining the banking industry, Somnath worked at Tata Consultancy Services as an Associate Consultant from April 2021 to May 2022. Somnath also served as an Assistant Consultant at Tata Consultancy Services from November 2020 to March 2021, and from July 2017 to October 2020. Additionally, they worked as a Full Stack Lead at Citi from October 2020 to May 2022, and from July 2017 to October 2020. Somnath also held the role of Technical Architect at Citi from May 2016 to June 2017.

Earlier in their career, Somnath worked as a Senior Solution Integrator at Ericsson India Global Services Pvt. Ltd. from April 2013 to May 2016, and as a Solution Integrator from October 2011 to March 2013. Somnath also served as a Senior Software Engineer at Icreon Communications Pvt. Ltd. from May 2010 to October 2011.

Somnath started their career as a Senior Developer at Nuvasoft Technologies from November 2008 to November 2009. Somnath then worked as a Senior Developer at Citytech Software Private Limited from July 2008 to November 2008, and at CRONY INFOTECH PVT LTD from August 2007 to July 2008. Somnath began their professional journey as a Developer at Escalade Web Development Pvt. Ltd. from October 2006 to July 2007.

Somnath Sinha obtained a B.Tech degree in Computer Science & Engineering from the West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata from 2002 to 2006. Somnath also completed their secondary education at Chinsurah Duff High School from 1989 to 1999, obtaining a degree in Madhyamik in general subjects. In addition, they have obtained several certifications including HTML/CSS, JS, PHP, and Python from TestDome in 2015. Somnath also holds certifications in Akamai Web Performance Administration from Akamai Technologies in 2015 and ITIL V3 Foundation Framework from APMG-International in 2013.
