Laarni Villamater-Ona

Laarni Villamater-Ona is a seasoned human resources professional with extensive experience in leading HR functions across various financial institutions. Currently serving as a Human Resources Business Partner at the Bank of the Philippine Islands since January 2024, Laarni previously held the position of Senior Vice President and Head of Human Resources at Robinsons Bank Corporation, where the focus was on talent acquisition, management, development, and fostering organizational culture and engagement. Prior to that, Laarni contributed to UnionBank of the Philippines in multiple roles, including Vice President and Lead for Organization Capability, where responsibilities included enhancing organizational health and employee engagement. Experience also includes key positions at IBM Philippines, JP Morgan Chase, and Standard Chartered Bank, complemented by an MBA from De La Salle University and a BS in Industrial Engineering from Saint Louis University.
