Jacinta Anyinge

Jacinta Anyinge serves as the Assistant Manager in the Legal and Board Affairs Department at the Deposit Protection Fund of Uganda since October 2023, where responsibilities include drafting and reviewing laws, conducting research on deposit insurance trends, and representing the fund in litigation matters. Additionally, Jacinta is a Community of Practice Facilitator for the Digital Frontiers Institute in Uganda. Previously, Jacinta has held significant roles, including Senior Principal Legal Officer at the Bank of Uganda since April 2010, where legal advice and representation in financial matters are key duties, and as a State Attorney in the Ministry of Justice & Constitutional Affairs. Academic credentials include multiple advanced degrees in law and finance from esteemed institutions such as the National University of Singapore and New York University.
