Vanessa Mauer

Vanessa Mauer, MBA, has a strong background in the banking industry. Vanessa is currently Vice President of Organizational Development & HR at BankCherokee, a role they assumed in June 2023. Prior to this, they served as Head of Retail Banking at BankCherokee starting in November 2021. Vanessa also held the position of Branch Admin and Training Officer at the same company from November 2018 to November 2022. Before joining BankCherokee, they worked at MidWestOne Bank as 2nd Vice President/Retail Managing Officer from April 2016 to April 2018. Vanessa's earlier experience includes serving as AVP/Location Manager at Central Bank from September 2011 to April 2016.

Vanessa Mauer, MBA, holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, which they obtained between 2016 and 2019. Prior to their MBA, they completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Audiology/Audiologist and Speech-Language Pathology/Pathologist from the University of Minnesota from 2008 to 2011. Additionally, they have an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Medical/Clinical Assistant, which they earned from Argosy University from 2003 to 2005.
