Abdalla al Aboodi

Abdalla Al Aboodi has extensive work experience in the banking and finance sector. Abdalla currently holds the position of Managing Director and Head of Global Corporate Finance Origination MENA at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), a role they have held since 2024. Prior to this, they worked at Emirates Development Bank (EDB) as a member of the Project and Corporate Finance team in the Wholesale and Institutional Banking division from 2021 to 2024.

Before joining EDB, Abdalla worked at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) in various roles. Abdalla served as an Executive Director in Debt Capital Markets and Corporate Finance from 2015 to 2022. Additionally, they held the positions of Director in the same department from 2018 to 2022 and Manager in Enterprise Risk Management and Finance within the Internal Audit team from 2015 to 2022.

Abdalla's earlier experience includes working at First Gulf Bank as an Assistant Manager in Internal Audit from 2011 to 2015 and at Commercial Bank of Dubai as a Relationship Manager from 2008 to 2011.

Abdalla Al Aboodi completed their Master of Science in Finance from The British University in Dubai from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Management Information System (MIS) and Marking from the American University of Sharjah between 2004 and 2008.
