Chris Wray

Chris Wray has a diverse work experience that includes roles in compliance, property development, and trustee compliance management. From 2013 to present, they have worked as a Vice President of Compliance in CIB, Global Asset Management, and Private Banking at First Abu Dhabi Bank. Prior to that, they worked as a Property Development specialist at Wraypex (Pty) Ltd from 2004 to 2013. Earlier in their career, they served as a Trustee Compliance Manager at Deutsche Bank from 1998 to 2003.

Chris Wray's education history includes obtaining an Advanced Diploma in Compliance & Financial Crime from the ICMA Centre. Prior to that, they attended King Edward VII School from 1983 to 1987. In terms of additional certifications, Chris has an AML; Law, Regulations and Best Practices Certificate from the Emirates Institute for Banking and Financial Studies (EIBFS), as well as an International Compliance Officer Certificate and a Securities Institute Affiliate (Merit Award).
