Ismail Sherif

Ismail Sherif is an experienced professional in the field of fraud risk management and oversight. Currently serving as the Head of the Retail Credit Fraud Unit at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) since June 2022, Ismail previously held significant roles at Bank Audi from March 2011 to June 2022, including Head of Fraud and Risk Management and Head of the Mortgage Appraisal and Verification Unit. Earlier experience includes a position as Fraud Investigation & Control Head at CitiBank from December 2007 to March 2011, responsible for implementing risk oversight protocols and ensuring compliance with internal standards and policies. Ismail's foundational education was obtained at the Police Academy, where a degree was earned from 1996 to 1999, culminating in the rank of Captain.
