Jaswinder Singh Taunque

Jaswinder Singh Taunque is an accomplished banking professional with extensive experience in credit management and risk assessment. Currently serving as EVP & Head of Credit & Collections at First Abu Dhabi Bank since April 2017, Jaswinder oversees consumer credit operations. Prior roles include Head of Credit Governance, Portfolio & International at FGB, and Head of Retail Risk at the International Bank of Qatar, where responsibilities encompassed the management of the consumer credit cycle for various financial products. Jaswinder also held significant positions at the Royal Bank of Scotland and First Gulf Bank, focusing on credit risk management and portfolio performance. With a solid educational foundation including an MBA from RA Podar Institute of Management and a BA in Economics from Panjab University, Jaswinder has effectively navigated various challenges in the banking sector since beginning a career at Citibank India in 1990.
