QA Engineer at Bankjoy

Aya Goldman has worked in the software Quality Assurance field since 1993. Aya began their career at Northwest Airlines as a CSA Interpreter in 1993. In 2000, they joined Comverse as a SQA Engineer where they developed and executed test cases to verify and validate call processing software (SS7 protocol) both in Japanese and English, and performed performance analysis utilizing a call generation tools (MGTS and Hammer). In 2001, they joined TJX as a QA Analyst where they verified downloading applications and collecting data using remote access tools (Xcellenet/Autoxfer), validated a touch screen self service gift card Kiosk running on Windows 2000, and reviewed documents and authored a test plan for a web based HR application. In 2003, they joined Mindseye as a QA/Project Manager where they managed/oversaw website development project’s scope, resources, budget and schedule, consulted clients and produced a specification document (wireframes) using Visio, and assisted support group to solve and manage issues in the production environment. In 2004, they joined Sigmatel (formerly Oasis Semiconductor) as a QA Engineer where they lead QA effort in All-In-One laser printer testing and reviewed specification documents and wrote base line test cases for local copy and fax. In 2005, they joined Online Buddies as a QA Engineer where they established a QA department and QA related process, multi-server online community (both US and International) application testing and reported/tracked issues/defects using issue tracking system, and creating and maintaining test related documents. In 2007, they joined Outsight Interactive as a QA Analyst where they created detailed test plans and test cases from product specifications and developer notes, including functionality testing and targeted regression testing, and supported launches and served as back-up support for International business stakeholders in US, CA, EU, AU/NZ, JP, and KR. In 2020, they joined Energy and Resource Solutions as an Administrative Assistant where they were responsible for general administrative tasks, reviewed and verified contracts and produced a summary document, and used Microsoft Teams and Confluence. Aya also joined Bankjoy as a QA Engineer where they established and continues to refine Bankjoy QA department and QA related process, create and execute detailed test cases out of user stories including functionality testing, targeted regression testing and integration testing, and review end-to-end banking related applications including digital banking (web, iOS and Android mobile apps), voice and text banking, e-statement, online account opening application, and loan application.

Aya Goldman attended UMass Boston, where they studied Computer Science.
