Jim Slayton

Jim Slayton, CPSM, currently serves as the Chief Procurement Officer at BankUnited since November 2019. Prior to this role, Jim held several key positions at Dominion Energy, including Head of Corporate Sourcing and Head of IT Procurement & Strategic Sourcing, where Jim managed substantial budgets related to indirect spend and IT procurement. Jim's earlier experience includes serving as Senior Manager of Enterprise Supplier Management at Capital One, where Jim focused on supply chain excellence, and as Print Purchasing Manager at Rexall Sundown, where Jim established a new procurement department. Jim started their career as Circulation Manager at SETA Corporation, overseeing the management and purchasing of printed materials. Jim holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ithaca College.
