Jose R. Valdes

Jose R. Valdes is an accomplished banking professional with extensive experience in corporate and commercial lending. Currently serving as Managing Director for Regional Corporate Banking at BankUnited since February 2011, Valdes has held multiple senior positions within the company, including Executive Vice President and Managing Director of Florida Corporate Banking. Prior experience includes a role as Vice President of Corporate and Commercial Real Estate Lending at Ocean Bank. Valdes holds an Advanced Leadership Certificate from The Wharton School and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Florida International University, in addition to being a State of Florida Certified General Contractor.
