Mel W.

Mel W. has extensive work experience in the field of training and development. They currently hold the position of Head of Training & Development at The Bannatyne Group since April 2023. Prior to this, Mel worked as the Global Training Manager at Ocado Technology from September 2021 to June 2023. Before that, they were employed at CALYX. as an L&D professional from November 2016 to September 2021. Mel also served as the Planning & Curriculum Manager at the People Plus Skills Division, a division of Staffline Plc, from November 2014 to September 2021. Earlier in their career, Mel held the role of Head of Apprenticeships & Employability Contracts at West Anglia Training Association (WATA) from July 2012 to October 2014, and as the Head of Operations at Skills for Security from September 2010 to January 2012. Mel started their career at Stephenson College in October 2005, where they worked until September 2010.

Mel W. completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from the University of Essex. This took place from 2012 to 2015. Following this, Mel enrolled in the University of Portsmouth and is currently pursuing an MSc degree in Human Resources Management and Services, with an expected end year in 2023.
