Bryce Payne

Bryce Payne, MBA, MRED has extensive experience in the commercial real estate industry. Bryce currently holds the position of Senior Vice President & Oregon CRE Market Manager at Banner Bank. Prior to this, they founded pdxCRE: Portland Commercial Real Estate. From 2013 to 2022, Bryce served as Vice President, Commercial Real Estate at HomeStreet Bank, where they played a key role in re-launching and building the bank's commercial real estate business in Portland. During their tenure, they provided over $750 million in senior debt financing to clients and received the President's Club award for their outstanding performance.

Bryce has also held positions at C. E. John Company as a Consultant, Asset Management, and at Wells Fargo, where they worked as a Vice President, handling various responsibilities such as prospect identification, credit analysis, loan structuring, construction loan oversight, and client relationship management. During their time at Wells Fargo, they helped establish the company's Portland middle market real estate presence, expand its senior housing product expertise, and received the prestigious Golden Spoke award.

Additionally, Bryce has made significant contributions as the ULI NEXT Chair Portland at the Urban Land Institute and as Founder & Principal of scene sketches. Bryce began their career as a Graduate Teaching Fellow at the University of Oregon and held internships at Wells Fargo & Company and Autodesk, Inc. throughout their academic journey.

Bryce Payne, MBA, MRED holds a Master of Real Estate Development (MRED) from Portland State University, which they earned between 2013 and 2015. Bryce also earned an MBA from the University of Oregon between 1999 and 2001, with a focus on Finance, Strategy, and Marketing. Prior to that, they obtained a double degree, HBA/HBS, in Computer Science and Business (Finance) from Oregon State University, where they studied from 1994 to 1999. Additionally, they participated in a Computing and Management program at Lancaster University from 1997 to 1998.
