Mary Schubert

Mary Schubert serves as the Executive Director of Legal Services at Banner Health since October 2010, where responsibilities include managing complex joint ventures, mergers, acquisitions, and bond financing transactions, as well as drafting and negotiating independent physician agreements, particularly in telehealth. Prior experience includes serving as a Partner and Owner at True, Walsh & Schubert, LLP, offering legal counsel to hospitals and healthcare providers on corporate and administrative matters, with a strong emphasis on compliance with healthcare regulations. At Miller Mayer, LLP, Mary assisted healthcare entities with contract negotiations and regulatory compliance. Earlier roles include law clerk positions focusing on litigation and health care law, and foundational experience as a paralegal. Mary holds a J.D. in Corporate Law from Syracuse University College of Law and a B.A. in European History and Political Science from DePauw University, with additional studies at the University of Oxford.
