Rateesh Upendran

Rateesh Upendran has over 20 years of experience in various roles in the IT industry. Rateesh started as a Software Developer at Yalamanchili Software Exports Ltd in 2000, then moved on to JPMorgan Chase (Syntel Inc) as an IT Analyst and progressed to a Project Leader role. Rateesh later joined Tata Consultancy Services as an Associate Consultant, where they led various projects related to Enterprise Architecture Integration and SOA enablement. Subsequently, they joined Lloyds Banking Group as a Lead Solutions Architect and EY as an Enterprise Architect, focusing on providing advisory services for technology and digital transformation in the banking and financial services sector. Currently, they serve as the Head of Digital Technology at Banque Saudi Fransi.

Rateesh Upendran completed their Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Sree Chitra Thirunal College of Engineering in 2000. Rateesh also pursued a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical (Production) Engineering from the University of Kerala from 1995 to 1999. In 2021, they obtained a Post Graduate Degree in Data Science & Business Analytics from the Great Lakes Institute of Management. Additionally, Rateesh holds certifications in Digital Transformation Specialist from the University of Virginia, Cloud Architecture: Design Decisions from LinkedIn, and TOGAF 9.1 from The Open Group.
