Ulrike Grandi-Haferstroh has worked in a variety of roles in the marketing, communications, and media industries since 2000. In 2000, they worked as a student assistant in the news department of RTL Television. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a freelance editor at Deutsche Welle. From 2011 to 2017, they were the Press Officer for imedo GmbH. From 2017 to 2019, they were the Head of Marketing and Communication at YUKKA Lab AG. From 2019 to 2021, they were the Head of Marketing and Communication at Klax Gruppe. Since 2021, they have been the Unit Director of Deep Tech at PIABO PR. Ulrike is currently the Head of Marketing at Banxware, a company that enables the future of banking.

Ulrike Grandi-Haferstroh completed a Magister Artium in Germanistik/Publizistik- u. Kommunikationswissenschaften from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin in 2010. In 2016, they completed a Course: From Ideas to Action - Bring Ideas to Life through Ideation and Prototyping from IDEO | IDEO's Online Learning Experience, and a Design Thinking course from betahaus | ACADEMY. Ulrike also attended a Seminar Content Marketing from ADC | Young Masters, and Social Media und Kommunikationsmanagement from Deutsche Presseakademie, DEPAK. In 2018, they completed a Berufliche Weiterbildung in Frauen in Führung: Innere Stärke (Resilienz) from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, and is currently pursuing a Magistra Artium in Publizistik- und Kommunikationswissenschaften from Freie Universität Berlin. Ulrike also obtained a Ideas to Action certification from IDEO U in September 2016.
