Ben Abnett

Ben Abnett has worked in a variety of roles in the sports industry since 2014. Ben began their career as a Camp Counsellor and Director for the Town of Whitby's IPSC Multi-Sport Camp. In 2018, they joined EventConnect™ as a Strategy & Business Development - Sport Technology, Partnership Advisor, and Sport Management Intern. In 2020, they became an MBA Consultant for SeventySix Capital Sports Advisory, a sports consulting group. In 2021, they moved to Jonas Software as an M&A Associate, and in 2022 they joined Banyan Software as Manager, Corporate Development.

Ben Abnett has a comprehensive education history. Ben obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology/Sport Management, Honors from Western University in 2014-2018. Ben then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration from both Smith School of Business at Queen's University and Queen's University in 2020-2021. Additionally, Ben has obtained a number of certifications from institutions such as LinkedIn, Google Digital Garage, Front Office Sports, IBM, and more.
