Desiree Jones

Desiree Jones has extensive experience in nursing leadership, having served as Director of Nursing at Baptist Health from April 2015 to May 2023, overseeing daily operations of multiple inpatient nursing units, including PCU, CCU, MSU, STU, and LDRP. Prior to this, Desiree held the position of Director of Neurosciences and Oncology Nursing, managing seven adult inpatient units, and also served as Director of Medical Surgical Nursing for eight units. At Tenet Healthcare, Desiree worked as an RN Nurse Manager, focusing on a DSC certified knee and hip program and orthopedic inpatient nursing unit. Earlier roles include RN Clinical Manager at CHI Franciscan Health, overseeing a 32-bed medical surgical unit, and Unit Based Educator, responsible for education across two medical-surgical units. Desiree holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice and a Master of Science in Nursing, both in Healthcare Leadership and Administration, from Drexel University.
