John McGee

John McGee is an experienced healthcare IT professional currently serving as the Director and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Baptist Health since December 2018. McGee manages the security program for a large healthcare enterprise and is a candidate in a master's level informatics program. Prior to the current role, McGee held various positions at Baptist Health from 1994 to 2018, including Deputy CISO, Ancillary Clinical Systems Team Manager, Datacenter Manager, and Manager of the NWT Team, overseeing critical systems and infrastructure for diverse clinical areas. In addition to technical expertise, McGee contributed to the Arkansas Health Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS), serving in several board capacities. McGee holds a Master of Science in Health Informatics from Arkansas Tech University and has completed studies at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and Ouachita Baptist University.
