A board member of the Mid-South Chapter of the American Red Cross, the Down Syndrome Association of Memphis and Page Robbins Adult Day Care, he is a past chairman of the Health Care Financial Management Association, Tennessee Chapter. He holds a bachelor's degree from David Lipscomb University and an MBA from the University of Memphis.
