Jorge Coronel M.D.

Jorge Coronel MD currently serves as the Senior Medical Director of Informatics for the Clinical Enterprise at Baptist Health South Florida, a position held since June 2007. Throughout the years at Baptist Health, Jorge Coronel has held various roles, including Medical Director of Informatics and Chair of Medical Informatics for Baptist Health Medical Group, as well as Chief of Hospital Medicine and Medical Director of the Hospital Medicine Program. Prior experience includes serving as Medical Director at Hospitalists of South Florida from January 2004 to June 2007 and as President and Owner of Coronel Medical Group from June 2001 to January 2004. Jorge Coronel earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from UT Health San Antonio, completing an Internal Medicine Residency Program from 1998 to 2001.
