Jaimes Badillo

Jaimes Badillo has over 25 years of work experience in the field of information security. Jaimes is currently serving as the VP Information Security Officer at Bar Harbor Bank & Trust since 2022. Prior to this, from 2016 to 2022, they worked at Great Western Bank where they started as a Senior IT Security Analyst and was rapidly promoted to Information Security Officer. During their tenure, they played a key role in driving improvements in security, IT quality control, and data governance. Before joining Great Western Bank, Jaimes worked at Home Federal Bank (HFFC) from 2012 to 2016 as the AVP | Information Security Manager. Jaimes successfully enabled the creation of a business continuity plan and improved the bank's security posture. From 1997 to 2011, they worked at First Premier Bankcard as a Network Security Administrator. Overall, Jaimes has gained extensive experience in enhancing security measures, developing security policies, and ensuring compliance with regulations throughout their career.

Jaimes Badillo earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Management from the University of Sioux Falls, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the same university, completing it from 2001 to 2007.
