Avshalom Shapira

Avshalom Shapira has extensive experience in quantitative analysis and entrepreneurship, currently serving as an Entrepreneur at Barak Capital since July 2012, focusing on rates, equities, FX, and commodities. Previously, Avshalom worked as an In-house Entrepreneur at Arakamba from August 2006 to May 2012, specializing in quantitative analysis of FX and equity volatilities, and played a key role in founding and managing high-frequency trading operations, as well as founding and fundraising for Bloomsbury Hedge Fund. Avshalom holds B.Sc. degrees in Physics and Mathematics from Tel Aviv University, obtained between 2004 and 2006.
