Sharon Phillips

Sharon Phillips has extensive experience in the insurance and HR sectors. Sharon currently serves as a Non-Executive Director at Unity Insurance Services, bringing their expertise in insuring Not for Profit organizations. Previously, they held the role of HR Director at Barbon Insurance Group, where they were responsible for shaping the people strategy and developing initiatives in line with the business plan. Prior to that, Sharon worked at Citi as the Head of HR/SVP, UK Consumer, where they led the HR strategy for UK Consumer and managed HRBP's, talent, and training and development. Sharon also held roles at Egg Banking, Egg, Experian, TMP Worldwide UK, Airfoil Technologies International, and Boots UK, further enhancing their HR and talent management skills.

Sharon Phillips' education history begins in 1989 when they attended The University of Salford, where they pursued a degree in Business Operation and Control, without specifying a field of study. Sharon completed their studies in 1993. In 1995, Sharon attended Nottingham Trent University, where they obtained a degree in Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) from 1995 to 1996. Moving forward, Sharon enrolled at the University of Chester from 2007 to 2009, earning a Postgraduate Certificate in Personal and Business Coaching. Most recently, in 2020, Sharon attended Lincoln University for a brief period and achieved an NCFE Cache Level 2 degree in Counselling Skills.
