Mahendra Upadhyay

Mahendra K Upadhyay has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Mahendra K is currently serving as the Chief Information Officer at BARC India since December 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Mindshare as the Head Of Data & Technology, India from July 2016 to December 2019.

Before joining Mindshare, Mahendra worked at Ericsson as the General Manager, Consulting - Big Data Analytics & Customer Experience from April 2015 to July 2016. Their responsibilities included strategic CTO and C-Level consulting for big data strategy and research, focusing on customer experience management for leading Telcos and data service providers.

Earlier in their career, Mahendra held positions at SAS Institute as the Principal Solutions Architect from April 2011 to November 2014, and as an Architect from June 2007 to June 2011. Mahendra K also worked at Neural Technologies as the Lead Mediation and Revenue Assurance from July 2005 to November 2006, at Reliance Infocomm as a System Analyst from May 2002 to July 2005, and at Bharti Airtel as a System Engineer from January 2001 to May 2002.

Mahendra K Upadhyay earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Math from Doctor Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya in 1998. Mahendra K then pursued a Master's in Computer Software Engineering, completing their MCA degree at Rajiv Gandhi Prodyogiki Vishwavidyalaya from 1998 to 2001. In 2010, they enrolled at ITM Group of Institutions and obtained an MBA in Business Management in 2011. Additionally, in 2018, they completed a program in Executive Management at Harvard business publishing, focusing on Business Administration and Management.
