María Eugenia Marín Mínguez

María Eugenia Marín Mínguez is an expert in gender equality and diversity, currently serving in Barcelona Activa as the head of the Equality and Diversity Area since April 2017, responsible for integrating gender perspectives in various sectors. Previously, María Eugenia held teaching roles at IERMB and Fundació Pere Tarrés, focusing on employment policies and effective promotion of gender equality. With extensive experience in local government as a technical advisor on gender mainstreaming at Ajuntament de Granollers, and as an equality agent at Diputació de Barcelona, María Eugenia has a robust background in policy development. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Gender Studies from Universitat de Barcelona and various specialized qualifications in gender violence and family interventions. Prior experience also encompasses urban planning and transportation studies as a geographer at SET.
