Joanna Ehrlich

Joanna Ehrlich is an experienced project manager currently leading the Tuberculosis Research Group at the Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) since March 2022. Previously, Joanna served as the Regional TB Field Services Coordinator and held leadership roles in COVID-19 response at the Texas Department of State Health Services from January 2020 to May 2022. Joanna's diverse experience includes managing multiple large-scale medical and training programs with Operation Smile from July 2015 to July 2018, where over 4,000 patients were treated. Further contributions to public health include managing health screenings for youth at MVNA and facilitating a diabetes prevention program at YMCA. Joanna's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Public Health Education and Promotion from Winona State University, along with two Master's degrees in Global Health and Clinical Research focused on International Health from Universitat de Barcelona.
