Emiliano Manuel Fortes

Phd Data Driven Physical Models at Barcelona Supercomputing Center

Emiliano Manuel Fortes is a data scientist and researcher with a strong background in physics. Currently serving as a PhD candidate focusing on data-driven physical models at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center since March 2022, Emiliano also works at Andes Wealth Management since February 2021. Previous roles include a researcher position at Quantum Chaos and Control UBA from June 2019 to March 2022 and a Python developer role at Unitary Fund, where a grant was awarded for the development of a Krylov time evolution approximation algorithm for a Quantum Toolbox in Python. Additionally, Emiliano gained experience as a research intern at CITEDEF from July 2017 to July 2018, working on fast-pulsed LED devices. Emiliano holds a "Licenciatura" in Physics from the University of Buenos Aires with a GPA of 9.5/10.
