Mariia Zemtsova

Mariia Zemtsova is a Junior Research Engineer at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center since December 2023, previously serving as a Research and Development Engineer at the Centre of Information Technologies and Systems from March 2020 to February 2023. At the Centre, Mariia led research projects focused on low-contrast image enhancement and successfully submitted four scientific research projects. Earlier, as a Laboratory Assistant at School №2101 from September 2017 to May 2021, Mariia provided personalized math lessons that significantly improved students' academic performance and organized extracurricular math events to enhance student engagement. Mariia holds a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics from the Higher School of Economics (2018-2023) and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Innovation and Research in Informatics at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (2024-2026).
