Kai Karren

Kai Karren is currently a Junior Research Engineer at semvox GmbH, starting in January 2023, after previously serving as a Working Student in the Backend Team Research. Prior experience includes a role as a Working Student at Voicebridge GmbH, where involvement centered on Voice User Interface (VUI) and Backend Development projects from October 2019 to November 2022. Additionally, Kai held a position as a Student Assistant at the Big Data Analytics Group at Saarland University from April 2019 to September 2019, supporting the Big Data Engineering lecture. Educational achievements include a Master of Science in Medieninformatik and a Bachelor of Science in Medieninformatik from Universität des Saarlandes, complemented by a Full Stack Web Development Certification from freeCodeCamp. Kai completed secondary education with an Abitur from Marienschule Saarbrücken.
