Ramon Nou

Ramon Nou is a prominent researcher at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center since 2006, currently serving as the Group Leader of the Data Centric Computing Group. Ramon Nou has led various initiatives related to Exascale storage and contributed to several European projects, including ADMIRE, Montblanc, IOStack, NextGENIO, and BigStorage ETN. Previous roles include HPC Storage Systems Research Line Lead and Senior Researcher, as well as positions as a Junior Researcher at Barcelona Supercomputing Center and a Senior Programmer at ABA English. Ramon Nou holds a PhD in Computer Sciences from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and a Master's degree in Bioinformatics and Biostatistics from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya.
