Matthew Yacovone

Matthew Yacovone is an adept research assistant currently engaged with the Intelligent Controls Lab at NC State Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering, focusing on developing machine learning models for robotics. Experience includes serving as a fine dining server at Barcelona Wine Bar, displaying strong leadership and customer service skills. Additionally, Matthew holds the position of guidance, navigation, and control engineer at Pufferfish, where responsibilities include developing a novel GNC architecture for a robotic spacesuit glove and optimizing control systems using MATLAB and Python. Matthew's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from North Carolina State University and coursework at KEDGE Business School.
