Miguel Didier

Miguel Didier is an accomplished banking professional with extensive experience in corporate banking and cash management. Currently serving as the Country Head and Head of International Corporate Banking for Portugal at Barclays Corporate Banking since April 2018, Miguel has held various leadership roles, including Head of Cash Management Portugal at Barclays Bank and Responsable of the Division of Transactional Banking at Banco Santander. Notable contributions include the development of innovative products such as the GPC payment management tool and Home Deposit ATM machines, as well as participation in the technical group at the Portuguese Central Bank for the Direct Debit System. Miguel began a career in banking with Banco de Comercio e Industria, focusing on customer service for corporate clients and trade finance operations. Additionally, Miguel holds a degree in Humanities with a minor in Foreign Cultural Studies from Universidade Aberta.
