Maciej Ewertowski, CFE, serves as the Vice President and Deputy Head of Fraud at Barclays Europe since June 2019, overseeing fraud strategy and financial crime execution for the Barclays Consumer Bank and managing fraud risk for Corporate, Private, and Investment Banking activities across the European Union. Previously, Maciej held various positions at Barclays, including Acting Head of Fraud and Senior Fraud Strategy Manager. Prior experience includes senior roles at Joyn GmbH and ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE focusing on payment and fraud management. A seasoned professional, Maciej's career at PayPal spanned multiple roles in risk management, culminating in a leadership position in EMEA Risk Management. Maciej is currently pursuing a Higher Diploma in Regulatory Risk & Compliance at Technological University Dublin and holds a Bachelor’s degree from Edinburgh Napier University, along with professional certificates in fraud prevention and compliance.
