Paulius Smakovas

Paulius Smakovas is a seasoned security professional with extensive experience in the financial services sector, currently serving as a Security Engineer and Enhancements and Transition Lead (Log Security) at Barclays since September 2019. Prior to this role, Paulius held various positions at Barclays Group Operations Lithuania from July 2013 to August 2019, including Database Security Team Leader and Service Owner, Database Security Shift Leader, and Database Security Analyst. Paulius began the career in IT support, working as an IT Support Analyst for both Barclays Group Operations Lithuania and Swedbank from 2010 to 2013, and as an IT Engineer at Elsis from 2005 to 2011.
