Soon Wong

Soon Wong is an experienced professional in the field of information security and software development. Currently serving as the Information Security Manager at Securian Financial since September 2020, Soon Wong manages cybersecurity risks through a centralized risk management program. Previously, at Refinitiv, Soon Wong held the role of Manager for Offensive Security Operations, collaborating with various stakeholders for enterprise-level penetration testing. During a long tenure at Thomson Reuters from 2000 to 2018, Soon Wong held multiple leadership positions, including Team Lead for Penetration Testing and Functional Testing, as well as Software Development Team Lead. Soon Wong's educational background includes a Master of Science in Software Engineering from the University of Minnesota, a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Information Systems from Metro State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bemidji State University.
