Ramkumar Balasubramaniam

Ramkumar Balasubramaniam is a seasoned financial executive with extensive experience in the banking sector, currently serving as Chief Financial Officer for the Middle East & Africa at Barclays since September 2008. In this role, Ramkumar oversees financial operations across key markets including DIFC, Israel, KSA, QFC, South Africa, Turkey, and UAE onshore branches. Prior to this position, Ramkumar held various leadership roles at Barclays, including Head of Financial Planning and Analysis MENA and Head of MI, Planning and Analysis for Corporate Banking. Additionally, Ramkumar has experience from Citi as AVP of Management Reporting for the Consumer Bank and from ICICI Bank and ICI Paints in managerial roles. Ramkumar holds an M.B.A in Finance and Marketing from the International Management Institute and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical from RV College Of Engineering.
