Sheena Clendennen

Sheena Clendennen currently serves as the Head of Compliance Assurance for Barclays Europe, a position held since July 2023. Prior to this role, Clendennen was the Deputy Head of Compliance and Compliance Monitoring and Reporting Manager at An Post from November 2020 to July 2023. Clendennen's extensive experience in risk consulting includes positions as Associate Director and Manager at KPMG Ireland from January 2019 to October 2020, and as Manager of Enterprise Risk Management Operations at AMP from September 2011 to July 2017. Earlier experience includes roles such as Operational Risk Analyst at AXA Australia and Audit Trainee at KPMG in Ireland, where Clendennen gained significant expertise in financial statements and operational risk management. Educational qualifications include multiple diplomas in Compliance and Sustainable Finance from University College Dublin, a Chartered Accountant designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, and a Bachelor of Commerce International (Spanish) from University College Dublin and ICADE in Madrid.
